Hundreds of Liverpool youngsters marched through the city today in the Global Climate Strike, which started in New York City.

​

The march saw babies in prams, teenagers off school and older protestors gathered in solidarity to raise awareness of the climate emergency.

 

Chants could be heard booming through the city including ‘System change not climate change’ and ‘I believe that we will win.’

 

Beauty store LUSH closed its doors to allow staff to join the young people while others simply walked out of their work places and schools to advocate for the cause.
